The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince ordered the Ministry of Interior to coordinate with traffic departments to implement the discount countrywide.
His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, has announced a 50% discount on traffic fines across the UAE.
The Abu Dhabi Crown Prince made the announcement earlier on his Twitter page, @MohamedBinZayed. In a tweet, he said that he ordered the Ministry of Interior to coordinate with traffic departments to implement the discount countrywide.
Sheikh Mohamed's announcement comes after the Abu Dhabi Police announced a 50 per cent discount on all traffic fines in the Capital. Abu Dhabi residents can benefit from this discount by paying the fines in the next 60 days, starting from December 2 (Saturday).

The Ministry of Interior has retweeted Sheikh Mohamed's announcement. However, no date has been specified for the discount yet.
