Man rides horse to buy iPhone X in India

Mumbai man hires a band and holds a placard that screams ‘I love iPhone X’, to pick up his new gear from Apple store.
An Apple junkie has kicked up quite a storm in India after he rode a horse and hired a band to dramatise his ardent love for the iPhone X.

Holding a large banner that read "I love iPhone X", the man organised an unusual procession with his noisy party in tow on the way to an Apple store to pick-up a pre-ordered iPhone X.

The stunt created a stir and hit the headlines in Mumbai, India's commercial and entertainment capital.

Major media outlets ran the story and identified the man as Mahesh Pallival, who reportedly hails from the Thane West’s Naupada district.

Pallival first made sure he will get the phone on the launch day by pre-booking it.
The iPhone X retails for Rs89,000 to Rs102,000 in India.
Pallival rode his horse with his accompanying drumbeaters to the shop at 6:30 pm at Thane’s Hariniwas circle on Friday.
And store owner Ashish Thakker obliged by handing the brand-new iPhone X to Pallival while the stylish customer was sitting on his horse.
Local media, however, reported, that the while the iPhone X is now available in stores in India, supplies are remain low and the demand high.
The Cupertino, California tech giant is marking the smarphone's anniversary with the iPhone X, the latest iteration of the beloved smartphone since the introduction of the original iPhone in 2007.
Countless tech fans have queued up outside Apple stores on the day it was launched in key cities around the world, with many more clamouring to get their hands on the gear, which retails for $999.
In Dubai, fans formed massive queues to get their hands on the gear at the Dubai Mall during the November 3 launch date.
