Her new reality show Tamara's World was met with a mixed reception from fans, following its debut on Wednesday night.
But Jay Rutland rushed to wife Tamara Ecclestone's defense on Thursday, after she was trolled for the family's lavish lifestyle on Instagram.
The 36-year-old hit back at haters by claiming their reality was simply 'different', and that 'jealousy is a terrible disease' - after his wife, 33, faced a barrage of cruel comments regarding her new ITVBe series with daughter Sophia, three.
Tamara took to Instagram on Wednesday night to document her evening of celebration, following the show's premiere
The heiress shared a snap of a congratulatory bunch of flowers, as well as a luxurious occasion cake - featuring a photo of the family on the front, and the words: 'Congratulations. Proud of you, love you.'
While the image was flooded with happy messages, some fans were quick to slam Tamara and the show - forcing husband Jay to rush to her defense.
'Because if you're saying your reality is what we should judge by, then by that standard you would be detached from reality for someone starving in Africa. It's all relative.'
He then added to another more fierce troll, who claimed he had only married Tamara for her wealth: 'Jealousy is a terrible disease hermano, get well soon.'
Proving to be a close family unit, Tamara's sister Petra then responded to Tamara's post by writing: 'Forever. Love you.'
One fan questioned: 'Really can't make my mind up about @tamaraecclestonerutland - how can that be real life?! I have a 4 year old girl and she doesn't have most of that and she's just as happy'
While others added: 'You should be ashamed to be called normal or a normal person'.
Not backing down however, Jay quickly responded to one hater: 'I think you'll just find our reality is different from yours.
